At Ruislip Physiotherapy Sports & Spinal Clinic we provide expert assessment, treatment and management of musculoskeletal problems, including ligament sprains and muscle strains, repetitive strain injury (RSI), sports injuries, neck pain and back pain.
The clinic aims to give you effective assessment through a detailed assessment followed by evidence-based treatment and management of your injury or pain condition. Our physios work hard to develop a good relationship and to further the client’s goals of treatment.
- Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Our specialist physiotherapists can assess and treat a wide variety of injuries and musculoskeletal pain conditions.
- Sports Injuries. We don’t just work with professional athletes or elite performers, we are happy to help anyone with a sports injury, be they weekend warriors or occasional performers.
- Paediatric Physiotherapy. Our trained paediatric physiotherapist can assess and treat many paediatric conditions including co-ordination problems, torticollis, talipes equinovarus, Osgood Schlatter's, juvenile arthritis, cerebral palsy and spina bifida.
- Women's Health Physiotherapy. We have specialist women's health physios who are skilled in the treatment of incontinence, pregnancy related pain, pelvic pain, abdominal muscle problems after delivery and menopause symptoms.
- Pilates. Pilates develop flexibility, power, stability, balance and coordination. One-to-one sessions are available as are small classes (max 6 persons) for ease of supervision and progress.
- Yoga. Our yoga instructors work alongside our physiotherapists to progress flexibility, posture, balance and co-ordination. We provide one-to-one sessions and small classes with an optional physio assessment before your yoga sessions start.
- Acupuncture. Acupuncture is most useful for treating pain when other treatments have found it hard to address the symptoms. Acupuncture is often used by physiotherapist to enhance their treatments.
- Electrotherapy. This includes TENS, ultrasound, interferential and electro-acupuncture.
We are registered with all the main insurers. You can be referred by your GP or consultant or refer yourself to us. Home visits may be possible on application. The clinic is upstairs and as no lift is available, patients must be able to manage the stairs.
All our physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
